Default Life's Pleasures

We agree that everyone finds pleasure in different ways.

However, to assume that everyone's greatest gift is a spouse, partner and children is not true.

There are millions of Americans, some very successful ones, who never marry, never live with another person, and never have children. This group is financially independent, has no personal responsibility for anyone but themselves, controls their own space and does what they want to when they
want to.

Collecting ultra rare baseball memorabilia, especially those items for which there is a great deal of competition, is our single greatest source of joy.

Having faced death several times, we know you can't take with you, but the first thing we did when left the hospital was to spend hours working on our collection.

No nagging wife, no screaming kids, no alimony, no one in our space (except those we want there when we want them).

A home in perfect order with a small personal staff - good friends who respect our privacy, incredible Yankee tickets.

Can't think of anything (or anyone) that could bring us more happiness.

Enjoy the 4th and God Bless America!
