Just completed "Baseball in the Garden of Eden" by John Thorn and halfway through "Ty and The Babe" by Tom Stanton. Highly recommend both.

For some light summer reading I'll plug my own little journal, the first issue of "21:The Illustrated Journal of Outsider Baseball." The premier issue is "Jewish Baseball Pioneers & Stars" and features 14 original drawings and stories of interesting players that are part of the game's great history...

I wanted to read one of the books on HAL CHASE but havn't figured out which one to buy. Any one beter than the others.

Im leaning to (Hal Chase - The Defiant Life)
