Kelloggs All-wheat basketball cards
Hi Ghooper33...
It has been awhile since we talked! You may know me from a long time ago as vesper20 or vintagebasketball. Yes, the 1940 date is definitely incorrect. I can guess where that info came from and there is a lot of misinformation on that site. However, to be fair, these cards have been a little difficult to investigate over the course of time. I've heard 1940, 1947, 1948, and 1953. However, I believe that 1947 is our best bet, and I'm about 95% confident in that. The All-wheat cards came in three series. Basketball cards 11,12,13,14,15 showed up in Series 3, while cards 29 and 30 were in Series 2. Here are the cards in the set. I need a few upgrades...but we see these cards reasonably often.
