Barry, I have tried to research it without making much headway.

The Negro League Museum in KC didn't know anything about it, but asked me to send them a copy.

There is one other copy of this issue (Vol. 1, No. 2) in the Ed. Bolden papers, archived at Howard University. I could find it in a list on their web site, but it isn't pictured.

I have never seen another copy, or even one of the first issue.

My dad picked this one up as a kid in NYC at a game and kept it for years. He liked the article on Satchel Paige.

Thanks Jim. It's looks like a magazine that would be extremely rare. That stuff just wasn't saved.
