It's nice to learn that a couple of folks believe I am smarter than I think I am. I'm not claiming to be a complete idiot, I have experienced quite the learning curve since I and this hobby joined each other ten years ago and I have gained much expertise on the subject of overspending, however including my name along with the likes of Zanidakis and Yeakley puts me in very fast company. Kind of like Christy Mathewson having a career record of 373-188 and brother Henry going 0-1; collectively they won a lot of games. I tiptoe around Ted and Rhett and quite a few others around here as well (including Mr. Wakefield himself whom I believe had a cup of coffee with the Frankfort Statesmen in 1910 and just lacks his own card to complete a run of T210-6s). The board itself is indeed a "treasure trove of knowledge" - I don't think there is any one "know-it-all guy" - and the OP (or anyone else) could not go wrong by putting up a question relating to old cardboard; it is amazing what remote esoterica can be spoken to knowledgeably by someone or another around here. Since the OP's question involved advice about a large collection, and presumably the acquisition or selling thereof, he might not want to put it to the board at large, but if he did he would gradually see who it was that might be most helpful to him and could then take it to private communication.
