Default Glasscock

Ted:

Glasscock was a very good player in his day, but he was just that - very good, making him a real stretch for HOF consideration in my opinion. His statistics were like those of Lave Cross and Tido Daly and no one is mentioning them and the Hall of Fame in the same sentence.

Kevin

P.S. Please don't tell me you saw him play so the statistics really don't tell the whole story!

Ken- I'm with you all the way with Ross Barnes. I also think a HOF 19th century special committee would not be an impossibility.

Default Hey Joe G......

I would tend to agree with you regarding Glasscock.

However, I'm hoarding his OJ and N162 cards just in case

Regards,

TED Z

Default Caveman Baseball

Hey, T-RexTed,

You know darn well that it was Ogg and not Abner Doubleday that invented baseball. You were there!
