It looks like you got a very nice glove for the money. I am a glove novice, and my expertise really lies elsewhere. But I know that this glove is in the "Dazzy Vance style" with the fingers laced together on the back side, in that manner. This is one of the earlier gloves to feature fingers connected with lacing, so it's somewhat desirable.
The guys over at the Vintage Glove Forum (link already provided above) can surely answer all remaining questions you may have, if you haven't posted there already. I know that Brett Lowman, Mr. Mitt, Rob Mucha, JD, and Ricky Bulldog all frequent Net54 as well, and it's probably just a matter of time until they reply here. I am betting that one or all of them can identify the manufacturer, time frame, and other pertinent details for your Lee Handley Glove. Those guys are good! Looks like a nice pickup.... |
