In all seriousness, I'm confident the education one receives in the Ivys is the same as that received from public universities. The two key differences from my point of view are that it looks good on my resume and that I've got a network of friends who also have it looking good on their resumes.

I was tenured at an Ivy League college (which one doesn't matter), however, I still have faith in the education system of today. Many would say (including my wife) that something DID happen once I was tenured, it went down

With that being said, it hasn't changed my opinion or love for the hobby (somehow related to why my wife feels my IQ has dropped when I start talking about "baseball cards", but someday she will come around, hopefully)
