Ben, that really is a great Burke photo of 'ol Diz. Just so everyone knows, I went to Ben for his expertise on Type1 photos, specifically regarding the Dizzy
Dean, and although he wanted to add it to his collection, he was willing to back off and not compete with me to purchase it. It wasn't until I contacted him to say I wouldn't be bidding due to some great autograph opportunities that had presented themselves, that he decided to bid. Thanks Ben for sharing your knowledge and your friendship! Also thanks to Mark, Jimmy, Scott, Jodi, and all the other members of this great board that have helped not only with my collecting, but that have helped provide a great place to shelter myself from a very hectic job. You guys are what's good about this hobby! Now, I was able to pick up a couple of minor Burke's for a price a just couldn't resist.

It's becoming quite the Burke thread. Nice pick ups all! And Mike, glad I could be of assistance providing you with shelter for your addiction. If you want to show your appreciation, that Henrich signed Sport mag you have would be a fine token of your gratitude.  Mark
