Thanks guys for your opinions. I have to agree with all of you. I do not understand the reason for trimming these cards. They are all in really nice condition and all would have graded out extremely well. How much value have they lost by being trimmed ? Thanks Jim

value on trimmed 1950s topps cards varies.imo, for low value commons maybe 10% of vg book. but trimmed 1952 high #s or valuable high dollar cards such as a 52 mantle,53 mays etc could go significantly higher than that.
