1910 Old Mill & Red Sun question on Bronkie
Does anybody have a scan of Bronkie from the 1910 Old Mill Series 8, or 1910 Red Sun T211? Is this Herman (Dutch) Charles Bronkie? Thanks.

Dutch Bronkie...
Hi Randy,
Here is a scan of both Bronkies. According to SABR, Herman Charles Bronkie (Dutch) played for Cleveland in 1910 for 5 games (MLB debut), after playing most of the season for Nashville Volunteers (143 games), and then went on to play with other teams including your Cardinals.

Beautiful examples, Jeremy. I remember about 18 years ago, I saw my first sample of the T211 set, at a card show in Atlantic City. The dealer wanted a hundred bucks for a pretty beat up card, but I kicked myself later for not buying.
Too many stories like that to tell. Thanks again for posting these. I love seeing how these 1909-12 sets correlate, in terms of poses and design. Such a great indication of the era.
