I used to love to go through ebay. Now it is overpriced junk. If it doesn't sell at a high price one week, they will just list it again.

Default If only...

If only we could filter out reprint or RP, it would be good again. Is there a way to do that?

In the advanced search feature I think you can exclude words.

William--

You can filter out words:

Searching for t206 w/out the words reprint, rp & topps:

No spaces between words or commas in your parentheses

T206-(reprint,rp,topps)

You can exclude things in your search by putting a minus sign and what you want to exclude. For example if you want to search for T206's, type something like T206 -2009 -topps -rp in the search box and all those will be elimated.

David--

I'm pretty sure you have to put the words in parenthesis like my example above.

Only problem with excluding words like "reprint" is that if the seller, f'rinstance, states "not a reprint" it gets thrown out, too.

My standard search is "T206 -etopps, -topps, -2009, -09, -reprint, -rp, -look, -l@@k." Probably miss some cards here and there but it's better than sorting through all the nonsense.

I also periodically email sellers asking that they put "reprint" in the title. If a bunch of people did the same, it might actually make a difference.
