Very nice Monos, and an especially nice T212 Weaver.
The better Monos look like they will grade 5-6, and the Weaver 6-7. Those are just guesses, of course. |

but I believe his uncle did. I thought the cards may smell smokey but I guess after being locked in a safety deposit box for so long they won't pick up much of a smell.

I agree with tbob... (without quoting him)... some auction place will want to bunch those together.
I think you'll do much better if you sell them individually at auction, IF you're going to auction them. The only reason I can see that an auctioneer would bunch them into a lot is because it is easier on them... not better for the consignor. When they get done explaining why they want to bunch them, say no and sell them somewhere else. |

I have been speaking with numerous auction companies and plan to make an announcement in the near future who I am going with. Then you all can start breathing down the auction house's neck
![]() The cards will definitely be shown around prior to them actually being sold so the sale will be some time from now. It has been a pleasure speaking with many of you. All of you have been very helpful and certainly possess a great deal of knowledge about the business. I wish you luck on your collection endeavors, and I hope that my cards may aid you on your way!! Now I have to get back digging around for that Bohen card. It's just gotta be there! |

Agree with Frank 100% and I hope whichever auction house you use will break them up or at least have small lots.
If you DO find the 1911 Bohen in the shape the other Zs are in, the board expects a postcard from the Riviera where you will be enjoying the summer. ![]() |
