Default My Bender Collection !!

This is the first year I stepped outside of T206 and T205 pre WWI and focused on Chief Bender. The cards and knowlege of members on this board are unreal. I had no idea so many issues were out there and look forward to future additions. This is the cornerstone of my Bender collection along with the nice Turkey Red I picked up in the spring- My Kotton Bender I picked up from Leons website !

Nah. Can't have everything. Too much great stuff out there. I was taking a nap when the BG Chase auction ended. Had failed to notice that Legendary auctions were closing separately otherwise I'd have run it up although I believe I would have chickensh!tted out before JL. I am glad he has it in his collection instead of some "dush".

David, you need to counter my Chase with your Carter Cracker Jack Matty. That card is my favorite in your collection, it's the cleanest 1914 CJ Matty I have ever seen.

Nice. Anyone ever see the Lajoie from this series offered at auction or for sale (or both, pray tell)?

Yes! And then, maybe two weeks later, it was offered for sale in someone's showcase at The National. I can't seem to recall who that might have been, but they sure were trying to flip it quickly!

This one beats out Croft Wagner-throwing, Croft Young blue back and my newest addition Chance with Blomes overprint.
