I know some of you have seen just about everything out there. Are there t206 piedmont with red printing?

I have seen that on a reprint. There are also two known originals that have a red bar and overprinted factory number. Other than that I'd pretty much bet the house that its a reprint.

Larry,
I've got company over for turkey day holiday but am free to chat after that. Regarding this particular item....it has all the markings of a 1980's reprint. Seller might not know that they are reprints....but that specific series mixed up the back colors and were printed on thicker and glossier paper stock. From the look at the scans the cards appear to be thicker than a typical T206. If I were you, I'd pass on this lot. Regards, Scott |

I agree with Scott.
The font on the front name/team appears wrong. Additionally, the backs appear to be "shrunk"...that is, the Piedmont add looks too small. There's too much space at the bottoms of the cards. This matches several reprints I've seen with the same back characteristics. In my view, these four are definite fakes. Steve |
