Perhaps the reason the card received an authentic grade from SGC is because they are maintaining their consistency in grading all E93s with blank backs as authentic. I have many E93 blank backs and they are all graded as authentic. Many do not appear to be trimmed or altered but I guess the line of thinking is that they must be hand-cut and therefore received an authentic grade.

Hello everyone,
Just as an update. We re-submitted this card to SGC at Hofstra. According to SGC policy, they will no longer give color variations or other such mysterious cards a numerical grade. However, the flip on the SGC slab will now read "black & white, blank back, unaltered". Thanks, James
