Casey Stengel's stats are in the middle of the second page shown on the 1911 Record, page 256. Casey hit .223, his line is about in the middle of the page.
In looking at microfilm of old papers from 1909 and 1910, tickets for the Lexington Colts were 50 cents. That seems like quite a bit of money just to see a ball game back in 1910. I gotta figure a fellow could get into the bleachers in a major league game for 25 cents, but I don't know... |
