Jeez, I am not with my "Ruth Biography" book for specific reference, but...
In 1914 and 1915, Ruth and Walter Johnson went head-to-head something like 5 or 6 times. I remember Ruth won all but one game, maybe won them all. And Walter Johnson is supposed to be tops on the all-time best pitcher list, hmm? |
