Default Looking for Ramsey

Hi Matt,

Had a full reply drafted and Firefox crashed..argh. It took a while, but found reference to him going by Hank in an old Sporting Life article (if I recall) - I had wondered if he might, but was too engrossed in reading to do the search.

I had written more, but ... anyway references were drying up around 1915 - I think his mgr career was done about then) and ultimately the search for "Hank Ramsey" manager 1915 (then 1916 1917) turned up that article - that last search only had 17 hits.

The Honus reference was very cool. There also may be a reference to his playing days, as there are games stats from an A-J-G team (per the obit article) playing Utica in Sporting Life (I don't recall the year/issue) - I think Ramsey was a pitcher.

Getting to spend the morning going through some old Sporting Life and Baseball Mag issues, well that was just gravy.
