Back in the early- mid-1980s, SCD columnist Paul Green, who did a ton of player interviews of old timers, did a really long interview with Carmen Hill. As a lark (back when SCD was making money hand over fist), we produced a monograph titled "The Battles of Bunker Hill." It was probably 24 or 32 pages in about 5x7 format. We had half a dozen of Hill's personal photos in the booklet.
We sold about six copies, gave Carmen all he wanted to the day he died, and eventually scrapped the rest of the 1,000 (IIRC) print run. I don't even think I've seen my personal copy in 10-20 years. There were a lot of great stories in the little autobiography.
