Since we are now expanding this to "4-somes"....how about this succession of Yankees Managers......

Joe McCarthy
Bill Dickey
Bucky Harris
Casey Stengel

This now opens the door to a myriad number of answers.

St Louis Cardinals

1980 - 1990 Dorrel Norman Elvert Herzog
1990 - 1996 Joe Torre
1996 - current Tony LaRussa

Not sure if Whitey will make it (he should). But Torre and LaRussa are locks.

Default PHILLIES HOF trio

Sam Thompson (RF > 1896)

Ed Delehanty (1B > OF 1897)

Elmer Flick (RF 1898)

My info is somewhat fuzzy as to whether Delehanty played RF, which is the field pos. that Thompson and Flick played.

Some one please check this out.

Thanks,

TED Z

Default Who's on First?

Delahanty was primarily a left fielder.

Default Kevin

Thanks for checking it out. I wasn't sure that my Phillies trio would be valid.

Best regards,
