Not a card, but Sporting News honored the home town Triple Crown winner for that fine 1937 season by putting him on the cover of their record book. (Still tickles me that on the 1928 cover is Lou Gehrig, even though Babe Ruth's 60 home runs for 1927 are listed by date with opposing pitcher on page 48.)
