If I recall correctly according to REA's lot description, both of those are trimmed, so already knowing it is trimmed may lend increasing weight to the possibility it was "cleaned" as well.

"Of course, that's not to say you couldn't get the grading companies to slab it as a green-back variation."

I bought a group of 6-8 1910 Obak commons a little while back that were glued to a sheet of green poster board. Looked as if they'd been hung in a picture frame at some point in the last 10 years or so. I decided to soak them to remove the poster board and was subsequently distracted by something shiny and neglected to remove them from the water for a day or so. When I did remove them, the backs were green (still are), just like yours.

In REA's auction they listed DUFFY (TRIMMED) which my friend agrees with.
CHANCE (slight trim) but in an SGC holder with no comments other than A auth. I have busted it out to send to PSA and it looks good to my friend we think it will grade very well also. FLICK they put (slight trim) and we will be sending it to PSA as well because it looks to be ok also. I already have an offer on the DUFFY (trimed) and as for the FOXEN which is already spooken for my friend says it is not trimmed if anybody sends it in to get graded and it comes back (trimmed) i will refund there money in FULL and half of all costs to get it graded by anybody they choose for the return of the card. I was just messing with ya. Hey, what are friends for? Actually though I would think that if it has been bleached, and it really does look like it from the scan, then it probably will fluoresce a different color....
