That card is unappealing to me because of its off centeredness. It may not be trimmed, but because it is so off center it appears that way. Too distracting.

Agreed that the card is not a great 5 due to the centering; but man, those cards usually sell pretty close to the average no matter what they look like due to their popularity (Cobb Bat On) -- until now, that is.

Although I didn't follow it to the end I saw that card and it was low a few hours ago....That is a low price but check the sellers id out.....it's a triple a value...

Rob-I think ebay is mirroring the stock market right now- Up, Down and Unpredictable. I sold some cards lately and was not thrilled by the final bids. Great buys for the buyers (all Net54ers as I recall) but all nice bargains.

Well, either a zero feedback, brand new ebayer got a heck of a deal, or the seller wasn't happy with where that was going to end up and had, shall we say, a hidden reserve on it.

We have been up and down all year with sales, and we have even cut down on the number of shows we do - eBay is low to begin with. I do feel the low prices are showing online and offline. Investment is still good for rare and unique items. I am really starting to make some changes and focus on just baseball, as this board is in luck with end results still strong in some cases.

It was a 3 day auction. Still makes me wonder why something like this isn't a 10 day auction. Why somebody wouldn't spend an extra 40 cents to get seven days extra exposure on a high dollar item is mind-boggling to me. At least make it seven days. It doesn't make any sense to me.

One could only guess he needed the money quickly and was not willing to wait an extra week. I'm not convinced that card goes much higher even if it is listed in a 10 day auction but I got a feeling were gonna find out real soon.
