2 similar situations.
Both cards were offered by friends, and the last one I needed (and still need) to complete the 2 sets. Both offered me months to pay, but I didn't want to owe anyone. Both insisted they didn't care, and again, I refused.
And in both cases the card has doubled in the 3-4 years since I declined.
'15 Cracker Jack Joe Jackson, and '33 Goudey Lajoie.
It might be years, if ever, before I finish those sets now.
