I already have a BL 460 back, so I don't need the card, but thought that a lot of you guys would be interested.

does "slightly irregular cut" mean trimmed or too short or something else?

rather odd comment...many oddly cut cards get grades, so there must be something wrong with the card to some extent.

The card has a "rounded" bottom (you can see it better from the back view), which seems to me to be consistent with old wear and tear... or someone cutting it by hand at the Broad Lead factory??

If someone was going to "trim" a card, I would think they would do so in a straight line to try and deceive people.

Just my opinion.

I have had this argument many times myself with the grading companies, but they just will NOT grade a card like this one that has the "bowed out" edge... even though it was most likely done at the factory in 1909.

The other way to look at it is to be GLAD that none of the grading companies would slab the card...

because if that card was in an SGC 50 holder...

it would probably be worth $25k based on how RARE these BL 460 cards are.

This is a chance for someone to get one for much less than that... with a star HOF to boot!
