Awesome! NHL needs to do this on an annual basis. Great possibilities. I am bias here but Fenway (if they ever stop winter construction) or Harvard Stadium for Bruins-Rangers or Habs. Opps, sorry Hawks, Wings just went ahead but great game. They (Wings) have the wind at their back (thought I would never refer to wind in a Hockey game).

This was a fun game to watch, and I agree that the NHL should continue this each year.
I'm not sure how good the viewing was at Wrigley, did anyone here attend in person? It seemed as though the seats were too distant from the ice.

BTW...The Red Wings are the best team in the NHL. Period.

Next year it will supposedly be at the new Yankee Stadium. Probably Rangers/Isles or Rangers/Bruins.

There is going to be an outdoor game every year for the foreseeable future. Its the one game that seems to get a lot of attention in the United States and the NHL wants to milk that for all its worth.

Above poster is likely correct with it being the Rangers in Yankee Stadium playing either the Islanders or the Bruins.
