value of the PSA half grade ?

the half grade doesnt mean a whole lot to me because of all the major 3 graders i find psa's grading to be highly suspect. i'm not a pre war guy like most of you, and i've been reading this site for about a year or two just for information purposes and entertainment, but i do collect vintage cards from 60's-80's and in the past have purchased several psa graded cards only to submit them to bgs/bvg or sgc and have the cards come back 1-2 grades lower than psa. i'm done with psa graded cards. in my opinion, psa was late to the party with half point grades and waited as long as possible before implementing the new system so that they could bilk people out of more money for resubmissions which i find disgusting.
