Question about 1930's Dizzy Dean Premium Photo (Info needed)

I picked up the following Dizzy Dean Premium Photo a little while back and was wondering if anybody had any additional info on it. I really liked the photo on it and don't think I have ever seen it before. It states "Win with your pal, Dizzy Dean".

It is on thicker paper stock and is right around 8"x10". The back is blank.

Any help is appreciated.

This is a Grape Nuts cereal premium from around 1935-36. It was sent for one Grape Nuts box top.

Hi Rhett

That is a really cool item. I don't have an SCD, so I don't know if the premiums are listed in there. Does anyone know if it is part of a set of ballplayers or how many there are checklisted.

This was a premium from the Dizzy Dean Winners Club. There were several different items offered but I've only seen a handfull of different ones. There are two pins that are often reproduced, a bat/ball pin and the badge type pin. There was a pamphlet that illustrated the different items and a carboard advertising sign that held the pamphlets showing Dizzy.

I thought it might have something to do with the Grape-Nuts offer. I admit however that I haven't seen the photo before, while I see the membership pins/buttons at almost every large antique show I attend (often ridiculously overpriced though).

Are the photos very tough to come by or are they relatively plentiful, like the membership pin?

Rhett, the two pins are the most plentiful. I haven't followed these items for a few years but have seen a couple of the photos. They can be had but I wouldn't consider them easy.
