Hi Sean,

I'm not sure, but I think you might mean a recent find that was graded by Beckett? I don't know much about it, but I think the Wagner from that find is on REA right now, up to $270,000 and the auction will end tonight sometime.

I'm not sure either if it's the same find or what happened to the rest of it - but I am sure that others here will know that.

There is also a near set of T206's in the same REA auction that is up to $100,000.

And speaking of the Wagner, it's over 300K with the juice. That is an amazing price for a 1, and it may not be done yet.

I wish Frank. It looks like Rob is just ending them when he wants...so, really isn't a 15 minute rule, there is a when Rob is ready to go to bed rule...I'm trying to hang unto a couple...wish I knew one way or the other.

Here are the unofficial results of the T206 cards that comprised the "Beckett Find". I think these are all the lots and the correct final prices. Remember to add 17.5% buyer's premium as that was not calculated into these prices. My quick tally shows $320,900, or $377,057.50 with buyer's premiums.

Obviously, we were extremely pleased with the results of the Wagner card. From a Grading perspective, while some may have felt it could have received a Fair (1.5) grade, we believe the card is legitimately a 1.0 card, albeit an extraordinarily nice example in terms of aesthetic presentation. We are thrilled with the attention the card received and that it not only shattered the previous record for a "1" (by about $125K with BP), but also eclipsed the previous record for a Good (2).

Likewise, the Beckett Select Auction department was also quite pleased with the results, and the consignor will be incredibly blessed. It is not often that a person literally finds a Wagner in his closet and his family's life is changed forever because of it.
