Default Watching...Bidding

Posted By: Jeff Lichtman

Sometimes I wonder why the big auction houses have their auctions right after April 15; everyone thinks that they do this because tax refunds have arrived. I can tell you that April 15 is the most painful day of the year for me financially as it is the day I must make first quarter estimated payments and also make up any tax shortfall from the previous year (which seems to always happen). I think if the auctions were in January I'd be more likely to spend like a drunken sailor.

As for you, Leon, I just ordered a crate of No Doz specifically for the 16 hours of extended REA bidding.
