I am shocked that 90% of a Tip Top Bread Wagner with a crease through his head went for $5500 before the juice. |

Leon, at least I lost out to someone I liked. It got a little too rich for my blood, but a great piece. |

It did get a little high but I figured I would go for it. I was a bidder on the Leader card lot too but didn't want to go hog wild since I have one that I believe is a little more rare with the W575-1 front.....From what I remember there was a story about a small stack of these Leader backed W573s found and in the stack was 1 W575-1 type front with the Leader back.....I got it in a Lipset auction I believe...regards |

You know, I would have guessed it was you or Leon fighting me on that lot. I may have overpaid, but I got 2-3 cards I wanted. |

I just noticed that the one in the lot is also a W575-1 type ....I think that is only the 2nd one I have seen next to the one I have.....very nice...and you got it for a good price.... |

Todd, I don't think you overpaid. But I was only really interested in the Leader Theatre card, if I had won it the rest would have been available for trade/sale. At least it went to a good home, let me know if you ever decide to trade/sell the Theatre card. |

Did a board member get the T206 Demmitt? It went much lower than I expected. |
