The photo is an interesting story because the description on ebay was SO bad. I emailed the lady back and forth several times and the story never really made sense until she mentioned that it was a gift from the city of Oakland to her Grandfather after "He" moved the Athletics to Oakland. I then looked back at her name, and it was Nancy Finley. Charles O'Finley was her Grandfather. She ended it and relisted it higher because she was getting so many offers to end it and she wanted to make sure the buyer was legit (Still does not make a lot of sense to me but that was her reasoning). I bid way more than I had to pay and got it cheap. I was still a little worried up until I got it in the mail but it is a beautiful example of this cabinet photo. It is easily worth 3X what I paid for it. |
