I'm not a Dimaggio fan by any means but, it was not luck. He was a great hitter, on an incredible hot streak, and everything just came together. Mathematically, I'm sure Tom Tango, or someone else could analyze every at bat, in every situation, during the streak, to come up with some kind of luck factor. You still have to hit it where they ain't. |
