There are no shortages of Doubleday CDVs. If you can post images of the front and verso, likely if it is authentic it can checked against other known Doubleday CDVs. That doesn't mean, though, the CDV is authentic. It could be a reproduction. Others who deal with SGC and PSA can opine as to their policy of authenticating CDVs. Showing it to an experienced 19th century collector, though, would probably be a better idea as such people have more expertise than the grading companies in authenticating CDVs. |
