Concerning the Anson photo, there were a number of post-retirement studio photos of Cap Anson that entered the hobby from his family. According to the family, the photos belonged to Cap. One is pictured in the Barry Halper catalog. I don't know, but it's possible this photo is one of them. There are others that I can identify as coming from the Anson family. |
