around the time of the national tis year.....1921, 1927 and 1928. WOW, the prices were great.....some 1921 commons brought $150 or more in VG condition. I also sold a 1921 Cobb in PSA5 about a year ago for about $1500. I think a lot of advanced collectors held off on exhibits, pursuing other, more difficult issues. Then the prices spiked on them and now you see a lot of names on them you never saw before. |
