I'm currently at 515 for the T206 set. I bought my first one when I was 8, that was 30 years ago. I tend to take sanity breaks away from the hobby, but it always sucks me back in. Can't imagine I'll ever get the Wagner or Doyle, short of committing a felony, which I'm still reluctant to do. Stupid morals. I've got the Magie, and figure someday I may plunk down for a Plank that looks like it's been beaten with a stick. The other 6 cards I'll probably pick up in the near future. I seem to have a new nemesis on Ebay who invariably snipes the end of Southern Leaguer auctions, but thankfully I only have one Southern Leaguer left to go. From here I figure I'll move to Obaks as I already have a couple dozen, and I like the look of the cards and the lack of irrational exuberance in their cost. I enjoy the "Pick up" threads on here as it exposes me to sets I've never collected, but might in the future. |
