My son, who is away at college, called me last night and told me that a good friend of his' great grandfather played for the 1918 Red Sox. I looked him up and sure enough he played every game of the 1918 world series. My son wanted to know whether there had ever been a baseball card made of him. He only spent two or three years in the majors. I found a 1922 Kolbs mothers bread pin, but that was in the minors. Any others? |
