As a lifelong Yankee lover and fan...I hate to suggest it...but from the looks of it...this won't be their year...and it's looking like a whitewash of sweeps. |

The Yankees have trouble with power pitchers, therefore Byrd pitching for Cleveland plays right in to their hands. I like the Yanks tomorrow night in Game 2. The Moose is a veteran who can win the big game, so it all boils down to CC vs. Andy P. at the Jake for all the marbles. |

I think it will be a sad day in Yankee history if George fires Joe Torre, a very sad day indeed. |

As a long time Yankees fan (since 1947), I agree with you 200% (if that's possible) regarding Steinbrenner. |

If Torre gets fired, i'd laugh if Posada, Rivera and A-Rod all ditch the yanks ! I dont think it would happen though |

uggghhh...the yankees are done. How ironic we saw Mo, Arod...Posada at the end there...possibly for the last time. How disappointing. |

Well, I also thought Mussina should start tonight -- however, he sucks too and would have gotten pounded slightly less than Wang perhaps. |

Ted - and who's fault was the Yankees BA with RISP? Make excuses all you want; the Yankees simply were outplayed by a better team. |

It isn't hard to figure out. the Yankees had crappy pitching and hitting at the same time ! A-Rod choked again... surprise surprise... actually, the whole middle of the order did too ! |
