It may look like him, but it's not....as far as I know Fatty's only involvement with baseball was with the Vernon Tigers in 1919 and even then he only bought the team to please his manager Lou Anger whose sister-in-law was the wife of one of the Vernon players. |

He could have posed with any team since he was a huge celebrity at the time. It does resemble him, but I agree it may not be. And he probably would be clowning around, and not be that serious. |

Next to Fatty is Buck Weaver, second from left. Next to him is definitely Ty Cobb. Far left in the second row is Jim Thorpe. I think the batboy is Josh Gibson, but it also might be Joe Jackson. |

Actually, the player between Fatty and Ty Cobb looks a lot like a TV supporting actor who plays a lawyer in a current show, and whose name simply escapes me. Does anybody else see it, or have a picture of that actor? |
