O/T for sure but I was reordering some of my binders today and took the opportunity to scan one of my favorite ersatz cards. I had three at one point but only this one remains. I love the scene in The Natural where they shows sheets of these being run off the presses:

Hmmmm - I guess that the card is real, but the ballplayer isn't.
A nice twist to the common theme of fake cards of real ballplayers.
What other cards fit this mold?
Maybe Fritsch's Eddie Gaedel.
But for at least one at bat, Gaedel was legal, I think.
There are Newsboys, the female 19th century ballplayers, the Presidents baseball cards.
Maybe more or less, but an interesting observation, Dave.
