My first Soaker!

I had a little too much coffee last night before kol nidre...and as a result I couldn't sleep. So I decided to try to soak my keefe poster cut out at 3 am I recently purchased on ebay. It worked pretty much flawlessly...I used filtered water from my refrigerator and filled a dessert plate with it and then submerged the card for 5-10 minutes. I would gradually peel the card away from the backing...then soak some more...then peel some more until the card was liberated. I then blotted the card as best I could and placed it between 2 paper napkins and into a thick book for the night. I'm happy with the results...here are a few photos. I know the card ain't worth much...but I like tim better this way!

Welcome Dr. Ullman to the band of merry practicioners of the dark arts. Be aware that some cards come apart when soaked, but others do well. I have sunk to the depths (or as I see it: advanced to the point) that my last soaking involved 33 cards, the bathtub, spigot water, an overnight soaking and a week of drying - all with desireable results. But of course, nobody is going to mistake any of my successes as greater than "authentic" in merit.
