To me, Bonds is an obvious HOF'er based on his playing career, the majority of which was made up of "non-steroid issue" seasons. The only question I see is whether his single-season and all-time home run records should be recognized for what they are considering that they WERE obviously impacted greatly by the steriod-era. Of course, Bonds is far from the only one but most of the others would not have near-HOF type numbers during other eras in baseball history. |
