peter- his items are going DOWN in value. period. what more proof do you want then his 70th HR ball selling for less then $20K? the sale happened on the eve of him hitting 755, everyone knew he was goign to hit it, so it's not like today the value goes up, him hitting 755 was inevitable (sp- barry?). it's not like it was an unforseen milestone, or achievement like throwing a perfect game, no one knows when that is going to happen, gabeesh?
