What's the deal with this guy???

Well, I can't say for sure if these cards are the real deal, but some observations.

1- cards, tiny scans, description, giant letters
2-PSA said these would cost too much to get graded, poor guy got less than 10% on his raw Cobb's because he couldn't spring for the grading fee, yeah OK
3- no guarantee on being authentic, but 100% guarantee on condition
4- you are going to get these at a fraction of book and once graded some will be worth thosands
5- selling a 1978 dime(common) for 10 cents, listing says 2.00 for shipping, description says free postage, he's willing to take the loss.
6- zero feedback

Why didn't he first sell a few of his lesser cards and apply that money towards grading the Cobbs and the Cy Young, so he wouldn't be forced to sell these gems for ten cents on the dollar? This is one of the stupidest stories I've ever heard.

I love the fact that he has been able to buy these expensive cobbs and youngs over the years, but his lack of money prevents him from getting the cards graded.

the seller has sold cobbs under the name purplevettincorporated. Still hasn't gotten any feedback on those sales either. Not a single person I know that emailed this seller for better pictures received a reply either. Some of these are clearly reprints as you can see the black text on the card.
Ebay probably won't do anything to this fleamarketer either

When you sell on ebay you can include a photo enlargement for an extra 75 cents. I know this guy is destitute but do you think there is a reason for these very tiny pictures? This one belongs in the scammer time capsule...we will one day have to do a book of these, they are very entertaining.
