Never. I only buy what i know will remain in my collection. I have sold maybe 8 cards in 16 years. Once I buy them, they stay in the house. The few I have sold, were sold because my focus changed. I had no more interest in Colgans, or 206's, or other oddballs from the teens and 20's. I also sold my 51 mantle, to pay some taxes and take my wife to Hawaii. Other than than that, I never flip...They're here to stay. One more thing, I also have sold a few in order to upgrade a particular card. Not many though. I usually don't buy until I find exactly what I am looking for. |
