Is it possible this was cut from a scorecard or program? |

I thought about that, but the ad on the back is consistent with the card in the REA auction. It would be a coincidence (but not impossible) for a scorecard to have the same ad line up perfectly on the back of the photo. |

I would not worry about it. It is obviously authentic and was not cut from something else like a program or it would be thinner stock and the back would not match up that well. Besides, I dont think the Page Fence Giants made printed programs for their games and if anything they would have used a scorecard which at any given spot would have a piece of a lineup card on the back of it. |

I would have bid more. That's a great card. There's been 3 great early negro league cards and card like items up for grabs this year. It's nice to know this stuff is out there. |
