In a 1957 article, Buck Barker stated that he thought there was a good chance that the picture on that card wasn't really Harry Heilmann, though he didn't know who it was. His reasoning was that he didn't believe the Tigers had that high collar after Spring Training of 1914, before Heilmann was on the team. |
