Okay, I should know this, but I don't. Is the T206 Hayden (Indianapolis) player the same Hayden who led off and played outfield for the Cubs in the Merkle game? |

One and the same. Hayden officially retired from the Cubs in 1908 to study dentistry...but was on the Indianapolis minor league roster thru 1911.. |

More than welcome...and I think the T206 might be the only Hayden card? |

I think that is probably correct. It's too bad there isn't a Cubs card of him. Everyone else who played in that game can be found in T206 with either the Cubs or the Giants. |

According to U Penn, he left dentistry to become a ballplayer and later went back to pulling teeth. |
